A beautifully built home library is such a joy to experience. All those years of knowledge and history displayed so proudly on the shelves.
Your library speaks volumes about you. Your collections, your interests, your history, your family and even your intellect.
Choosing the style of your library continues the story and the options are endless. Whether it be modern, fine lines or a traditional classic. Surprisingly, you can have the effect of a library without dedicating a whole room to it and the beauty of bespoke furniture is that the illusion of space is created with cleverly designed full height bookcases.
You might choose to create your library down a hallway, or either side of a doorway, or in a niche or a nook. The surprising the thing is that you only need 20cm to create enough space for a bookshelf, more of course allows more options but in only 20cm of depth you have the beginnings of a feature furniture piece.
We are very happy with the cupboard and working with your company. Your team has been amazing and always very responsive to our emails and calls. The cupboard looks fantastic. We will definitely keep you guys in mind for future renovation requirements.ChristinaSydney N.S.W
Trying to focus in the main area of the home can be counterproductive, especially if there are children or other distractions. Having a clearly defined home office solves this and many other problems.
When designing your ultimate home office we start with the most important topic : What work will you be doing in your office and what features would make you more productive when doing this work.
From there we can design your office to help you achieve a much greater level of productivity than working out of other areas of the house.
Everything will be at arms reach such as filing, storage, computer system, lighting control, charging stations and printer. This will keep you focused on the task at hand and not distracted looking for your things.
It doesn’t matter if you us your office once a year or if you work from home full time we can design an office that fits your needs and budget perfectly from a simple computer room fit-out to an opulent victorian style office retreat with library ,lounge area and meeting space, lets talk about what sort of office would suit you.
A wonderful thing about bespoke furniture in home offices is that custom built desks, shelves and cabinets tend to be built neatly up to the wall and scribed so that there are no gaps at all. This creates a lovely continuous look which appears seamless and calm, and there are no gaps for pens to roll off. You can have under desk drawers to fit your own selection of favourite stationery.
Setting the right mood in the office greatly increases productivity. You might have a communication centre with dedicated pigeon holes per person, or per action or whatever works for you, but getting a system in order based on your needs is a visual prompt to keep you and others on track.
It’s important that we sit down with you at the start of the process to get a really good idea of how you want the home office design to feel, and how you want to feel in it. Should it be ‘all business’ and quite utilitarian, or have a more relaxed, or even luxurious feel to it? It’s completely up to you, and we’ll work with you to make sure you get the result you want.
Our extensive use of ergonomic design principles really come into their own with home office designs, and there are many factors that we consider.
We’ll design a space that takes into account your surface area and storage needs, helps you maintain proper posture, ensures work tools are within the swivel and reach of the chair, and that an appropriate amount of light fills the space. Experience tells us that L-shape returns often work well in home offices, as they provide maximum surface area within close proximity to the chain
Walk in wardrobes are an investment in your existing space. To make any walk-in wardrobe design workable, there are some fundamental measurements that need to be available. You’ll need an absolute minimum clearance of 1,700 mm (1.7m), wall to wall.
Where space is plentiful, an ideal width is about 2,200 mm (2.2m), to give you two walls of shelving and hanging space and a comfortable walkway down the middle. If you want an ‘island’ in the centre, you’ll need more space again – 4,200 mm (4.2m) wall to wall.
Keep these important measurements in mind when planning out your walk-in wardrobes
I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Sally from Clever closet company to assist you with planning, designing and building your wardrobe. Sally designed and installed mine and absolutely nothing was a problem, even when I changed my mind many times. Sally provided practical advice, things you don’t even consider, and the options, quality and service was excellent and the price very reasonable.Elvira GaluppoSydney N.S.W
